True Heart – Knitting Pattern Highlight

June 18, 2018

In elementary school, my Mom frequently left supportive messages and small trinkets in my school lunch bag.  I will never forget how much those little messages meant to me.  Even just a note saying I love you or a sheet of stickers meant so much to me.

True Heart - Knitting Pattern HighlightWhen I saw Hagstone Publishing‘s newest knitting pattern, True Heart, it immediately brought to mind those little notes from my childhood.  I definitely plan to pass on the tradition and these little hearts are perfect for that.

I knit several in one day, so I consider them to be quite addictive.  My hearts were knit using scraps of Vanna’s Choice Baby yarn in the colorway Pink Poodle.  I used a size 6 circular knitting needle.  (ChiaoGoo Red Lace needles are my favorite.)

I usually avoid knitting stuffed animals and smaller items because of the arthritis in my hands. However, I did not have any trouble knitting this pattern.

Hagstone Publishing is a woman owned and operated independent publisher of neo-pagan items, speculative fiction and tutorials.  They promote diversity, sustainability, and community.

Click here to visit their website.  Or click here to purchase the True Heart knitting pattern.  I am not an affiliated with Hagstone Publishing.  However, I love their short stories and patterns.

Thank you for taking the time to read my True Heart – Knitting Pattern Highlight.  If you knit any True Hearts, please leave pictures in the comments.  I would love to see your projects.
